4th Year

It happens to be my absolute favorite time of the year! Everyone is happy, the house is so beautifully decorated, everyone is baking like crazy and it is so fun buying gifts for others. I really think Christmas is a time for everyone to take a step back and appreciate everyone in your life. Last night we had our annual girls christmas dinner. It started four years ago when we decided instead of giving 12 gifts to all of our girlfriends we should have a potluck and just be together for a night. And so it was formed the Annual Girls Christmas Dinner! It is getting harder every year to get everyone together. With three of the girls engaged and planning their weddings it gets tougher every year to pick a day and time for everyone to get together. WE are all getting so grown up so quickly! It really all happened about a year ago when everyone started getting engaged. In about a year we will probably have some pregnancies :) I love my girlfriends more than you know and am so blessed to have such supportive friends. The crazy part of this is I have more BEST girlfriends from adpi so I didn't have all of my best friends with me. I am so blessed and thankful for all of them. One of my girlfriends asked me about Tyler leaving and when I started talking about the drive home when I take him to the airport, my friend said you know what you have 10 girls right here waiting by the phone if you need us. It melted my heart and made me realized how lucky I really am. Here is a picture below of some of my best friends that were at the Christmas party. I love my life and am so thankful for my gorgeous friends and family! Can't wait till Christmas! p.s. Tyler will be at our house Christmas morning :) A first in our relationship and it gives me butterflies after 7 years we still have very exciting events ahead of us! Love him like crazy!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Now What?

Life is flying by quicker than I can catch up with. Its already December 9th and that means we are only weeks away from Christmas. Life has been so busy for the last few weeks with Thanksgiving, the wedding, and other showers it all came to a screeching halt this week. I am now back to the regular day to day world and I have to say I miss all of the crazy upcoming events we have. Yes we have Christmas, but Brittany will be at her In-laws (still so fun to say) house for Christmas. In all of my 23 years I have never had a Christmas without my sister, it will be really different but I am so happy she gets to experience married life! She will be missed but we will see her hopefully right after Christmas!

Then comes New Years and then comes doomsday, January 11th. This is the day I have been saying for about 7 months now. This is the day Ty will leave for school. I am so excited for him to begin, because I know the sooner he starts the sooner the countdown for him to be done will begin. It will be a very interesting few years coming up, but I know it will make us stronger in the end and allow us to work on our careers and goals for a while. He is truly my other half, the days or nights that each other is working, we find each other constantly calling asking when the other will be done. Probably a good thing he is moving to another country where phone calls are expensive. I would be a HUGE distraction :) I am just going to have to take up some things that interest me. For example: I would love to become a runner!!! or I would love to learn how to sew. Thats just a couple ideas. We laughed last night talking about if we won the lottery what would be different. It is so fun to dream about the lottery and what you could do with the money. I would probably stop working :) and start volunteering A LOT! I love volunteering and wish I could do it everyday. I would also start to travel A TON!!! Spend many days with my family! Some of my favorite times are just sitting around and laughing. One of my favorite nights ever with them was just this thanksgiving, where we broke adam into our crazy family. We were watching a Beyonce special, and yes Brittany and I were FORCED into doing/attempting the single ladies dance. Trust me!!! It looks a lot harder than you think! I would also love to buy a cute little beach house, maybe like this below. So when I say cute little those are just two words I love to use together :)

Anyways, Life is great and I am so thankful for everyone that is in my life. It could not get any better :)
